FAQ

  • I'm new to yoga, is this for me?

Of course! We offer a few different class styles and would recommend having a look at our suggested journeys to help you decide where to start. Have a peek here
but also don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly with more questions.

  • Can i try a class?

Like choosing the right icecream flavor, we love trying before you commit. We believe the best option to try a few different class styles to decide what you enjoy is via our ‘newbie pass’ - try 3 class within 2 weeks at just $40 - purchase here

  • what if i have an injury?

While we pride ourselves in modifications & the ability to adapt for anyone, please connect with us prior to class to discuss the injury before rolling out your mat.

  • how many people are in a class?

We love the buzz of a full class, but recognise the need desire to sprawl out when savasana finally arrives. We will have a cap on our class sizes at 20 which we believe will support both energy of a room of yogis & space requirements.

  • do I need to bring a mat or towel?

We suggest you bring your own mat if you have one, however we do have mats available should you need one. A towel is also recommended (in case things get a little sweaty), but is not a requirement. We do not have towels available however, should you want one.

  • can i shower after class?

Unfortunately given our smaller space & nature of the studio, showers are not available. There is, however, a bathroom to splash some cold water on your face & a few changing room should you need it.

  • are classes heated?

Our classes are not heated in a traditional way, however, we like a cozy space…especially on those early mornings or evening savasana. We do our best to keep the space a comfortable temperature so you can flow with ease.

  • what if i'm running late?

Late is better than not at all…but please understand class will start promptly. Do your best to show up on time & be respectful of other yogis practice. If this becomes a reoccurrence, let’s chat about how we can help give you the full class experience.

  • what if i booked a class but cannot attend?

Life happens & we are pretty understanding. When possible, flick us a message to let us know you might not make it if in fact you cannot cancel in advance. In the unique circumstance this becomes a trend, let’s have a chat about how we can make this mutually beneficial.

  • where can I park?

We’re super lucky to be off a pedestrian street in the heart of Takapuna, but it can make for difficult parking at times. our suggestion is to park in one of the paid parking areas - the first 30 minutes is free, and early risers can park for free.
